Peter Masanotti CHIEF EXECUTIVE OFFICER
Mr. Masanotti brings to Casenet over three decades of experience transforming and growing technology companies in multiple industry segments. Mr. Masanotti was formerly the CEO of MedQuist Inc., a healthcare technology company, which he took public in 2011. Prior to MedQuist, Mr. Masanotti was a senior executive at various financial services, healthcare, telecommunications and BPO companies that were all successfully restructured, sold or brought public. Mr. Masanotti serves as a board member of Advanced Health Media which provides technology solutions to the pharmaceutical industry, as a board member of DB Technology which provides healthcare software and was formerly the executive chairman of SAMI Health, a population management analytics company. Mr. Masanotti also served as a board member of Silver Hill Hospital in New Caanan, CT. Mr. Masanotti holds a law degree from Temple University School of Law and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Economics from the University of Connecticut.
Kevin Piltz CHIEF OPERATING OFFICER
Mr. Piltz came to Casenet with over 25 years of Development and IT management experience through a wide variety of business areas. Prior to Casenet, Mr. Piltz has served as the CIO/COO for LiveClips, a leader in the development and delivery of video content; USIS, specializing in technology-enabled federal security solutions; MedQuist/M*Modal, speech recognition technology and medical transcription; Geller and Company, an accounting services company and ITDS where he managed the company through a number of growing years and eventually through the Amdocs merger in 2002.
Alex Ginzburg CHIEF TECHNOLOGY OFFICER
Mr. Ginzburg comes to Casenet with over 20 years of progressive product development and executive experience building enterprise solutions for payers, acute care and clinical laboratories. He has an in-depth knowledge of Healthcare IT, specifically healthcare management practices, clinical data, operational workflows and government regulations. Prior to joining Casenet, Mr. Ginzburg served as a Vice President for Intervention Insights, Inc. He also has held senior-level engineering positions at PatientKeeper, Cardinal Health and McKesson Health Solutions. He is responsible for spearheading the development of products aimed at generating positive ROI for clients. His track record includes building and mentoring successful software engineering teams, having managed teams of developers and QA engineers located nationwide and around the world. Mr. Ginzburg earned his undergraduate and master’s degrees in Electrical Engineering from Technical University, Moscow, Russia.
Dr. Samuel DiCapua CHIEF MEDICAL OFFICER
Dr. DiCapua is the Chief Medical Officer at Casenet. Dr. DiCapua brings over 25 years of clinical practice experience to this role. He has been involved in managed care with a special interest in technology for over 17 years. He has overseen the implementation of many electronic medical record conversions and has developed and marketed his own electronic medical record software. He has operational and strategic experience in both Commercial and Federal programs including Medicaid, Medicare Advantage and Tricare. Dr. DiCapua received his Bachelor and Master degrees from Fairleigh Dickinson University in New Jersey and his medical degree from the University of New England in Maine. He is Board Certified in Family Practice and has advanced certification as a Physician Executive. Dr. DiCapua continues to actively see patients on a regular basis which provides unique insight and perspective into today’s healthcare environment.
Tony Larson SENIOR VICE PRESIDENT OF STRATEGY AND BUSINESS DEVELOPMENT
Mr. Larson has over 22 years of technology experience and successfully building companies in roles spanning client services, sales, marketing, product development, and business development. Prior to Casenet, Mr. Larson served as Vice President of Marketing and Business Development for Verplex Systems where he managed corporate marketing, product management and business development. Verplex was successfully acquired by Cadence Design Systems and Mr. Larson repositioned the product offerings to support a successful corporate integration. Prior to Verplex, Mr. Larson held senior sales and management roles at VA Linux and Synopsys. He holds a Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from DeVry Institute of Technology and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Phoenix.
