ACOs Summit: A Transitional Model to Full Risk Care Management

Austin, TX, January 23 - 24, 2012
This conference will focus on the "next generation" medical management tactic everyone is talking about: Accountable Care Organizations. The passing of the Healthcare Reform bill has led health plans, physicians and hospitals to seriously re-think the management of the chronically ill, who by 2011 will make up 60% of the Medicare Advantage population. More patients with more complex chronic medical conditions will lead to costly hospital readmissions, enrollment adjudication, risk adjustment, and claims processing. The Accountable Care Organization is now thought of as a possible, if not controversial solution to this financial problem. Three distinct groups: hospitals, physicians and health plans will come together at this event to collaborate on the ACO.
