TruCare Home and Community Services Enables Member Independence

TruCare Home & Community Services (HCS) facilitates coordination of ancillary (non-clinical) services including those of long-term care and waiver programs. These home and community-based services include those of Medicaid and other government sponsored programs. All of the activities related to the member's care, including clinical, behavioral and ancillary services such as transportation and stability services can be brought together into a single member-centered plan. When the appropriate use of these services are incorporated into a member’s care, the plan’s members are able to stay in a more familiar, independent setting and take a more proactive role in their care while allowing treatment to be administered in a cost effective manner.
