Senior Technical Writer

At Casenet, we create population health technology solutions that enable payers and providers to coordinate care. Our population health technology unites disparate data sources to provide a 360-degree longitudinal view of each member, making it easy to identify opportunities to coordinate and improve care.

As a Senior Technical Writer, you will be responsible for developing technical documentation in support of our highly configurable population health management platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in creating easy-to-follow documentation, is highly skilled in content management and authoring tools and has a focus on excellence.

Responsibilities:

Responsibilities for this role include but are not limited to:

  • Research available product information from requirements, specifications, and user stories
  • Interact with software and QA engineers, product managers, subject matter experts, and others to gather necessary information

Clinical Business Consultant

Summary

Drive the functional implementation of enterprise solution, by analyzing client operations and health care delivery models to determine opportunities to streamline processes and automate where appropriate.

Position Profile

The attributes that will contribute successfully to this position include but are not limited to the following:

Implementation

  • Drive the functional implementation of the TruCare Enterprise solution by gathering business and functional requirements, recommending process improvements, performing testing and providing support during full implementation process.
  • Collaborate with business sponsors and Casenet program management to define and manage the scope, requirements analysis and implementation of projects.
  • Gather and document workflow, both high-level and detailed, to obtain business and functional requirements in alignment with product capability, eliciting requirements using interviews, document analysis, requirements workshops, surveys, site visits, business process descriptions, use cases, scenarios, business analysis, task and workflow analysis.
  • Perform system demonstrations to customer subject matter experts in support of workflow and product alignment review efforts.

  • Provide Support in data mapping and crosswalk from source/target system and Casenet product.

Process Improvement / Product Development

  • Identify areas for process improvement within implementation process and internal initiatives to drive continuous improvement projects for implementation operations with the approach to minimize potential application changes.
  • Become subject matter expert on new TruCare Functionality and support Product and Quality assurance team during the release process. Participate in internal group meetings.
    • Contribute to writing specifications and design documents for the products.
    • Support Quality Assurance and product management to construct, manage, and execute test plans, scripts and bug identification; as needed.
    • Support the creation of training collateral to train super users on product interface.

  • Perform market research and provide insight on industry directions and related impact to customers and the product.
  • Lead as the expert with industry knowledge/regulatory requirements and ensure that product and workflow developments support these practices, standards and measures.

Client Support

  • Support the creation and updating of collateral for multiple purposes, including client orientation, product updates and testing methodology.

  • Understand Health Care processes, Care Management Industry and Health Plan Operations in order to align TruCare Functionality to it.

  • Demonstrable experience in health care, insurance, or similar regulated industry required, including CMS/NCQA/URAC aptitude.
  • License/Certification: Registered Nurse License or other clinical certification required. Experience working for a Health Plan or similar required.

DevOps and Release Engineer

We’re looking for an experienced DevOps and Release Engineer to join our agile team. The ideal candidate will have experience both in hands-on tools development and systems engineering. This role will require a significant breadth of both technical and non-technical skills, and a creative, driven, and motivational attitude. You have demonstrable experience managing and developing software tools to automate and simplify development operations. You are well versed in modern technologies and welcome new tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Configure, maintain, and support Maven builds for multiple Java-based distributed enterprise applications.
  • Customize and enhance builds according to new and changing needs using standard Maven build lifecycles, plugins, and Ant scripting.
  • Work with engineering teams on the design, deployment, and continuous improvement of infrastructure services and monitoring.
  • Scoping of work, management of backlog and timely project delivery
  • Maintain Nexus-based corporate Maven repository.
  • Maintain Git repositories hosted in Atlassian BitBucket Server. Administer and monitor BitBucket Server to ensure system health, as well as to facilitate and enforce Git development workflows. Branch, merge, and tag shared branches maintained in central Git repositories.

Senior Site Reliability Engineer

This role will require a significant breadth of both technical and non-technical skills, and a creative, driven, and motivational attitude. You have demonstrable experience managing or developing a multi-tenant and cloud native solutions. You are well versed in a large number of technologies and welcome new tools and techniques.

Responsibilities

  • Leverage various technologies to improve feedback and delivery by deploying containerized systems and services into the Cloud
  • Develop software solutions to deploy, configure, and monitor applications deployed in the cloud
  • Build CI/CD pipelines and using industry tools (Jenkins, Ansible, etc.) to deploy containerized services using Docker and Kubernetes in a multi-tenant infrastructure
  • Build and maintain IaC using Terraform to deploy cloud native infrastructure into AWS or Azure

Position Purpose

Serves as an escalation point for internal and external customers, providing advanced technical support and customer service. Guide customers on the deployment of TruCare features, products and usage patterns. Responsible for advocating on behalf of the customers’ needs and experience with the TruCare product with the Product Development organization.

Education/Experience

Bachelor’s Degree in related field or equivalent experience. 7+ years’ experience providing technical support for enterprise business applications. API/Web Services (JSON), Windows Server, Desktop, SQL Server (backups, replication, encryption, traces), enterprise network technologies (SSL, LDAP), system topologies, log file analysis, n-tier web applications and infrastructure experience, writing and troubleshooting advanced SQL queries and navigating large domain models required.

Job Description

  • Plan and execute complex programs and projects in accordance with the schedules, budgets, and scope

Senior Product Manager

Healthcare Software Trainer

Casenet’s rapid growth and continued success has created a need for an experienced trainer to join our Professional Services team.   The Health Information System Trainer is responsible for designing, developing, and delivering training content in eLearning or live/webinar capacity for Casenet’s enterprise healthcare IT application.  

The successful candidate will be passionate about creating and delivering training programs incorporating a variety of presentation methods and applications to accommodate adult learning styles.  

In addition, the trainer will serve as a subject matter expert and resource for training course development and delivery and will provide consultative guidance to customers. The incumbent will help ensure leaners receive appropriate and effective training so they may fulfill their job responsibilities. Special emphasis on maximizing the benefits of the software capabilities is mandatory. Systems Training and Clinical experience related to a wide variety of computer software programs, preferably in a health care setting, are preferred.

Job Responsiblities

Content Creation

  • Partner and consult with internal organizations such as product development and services teams to create and execute training plans
  • Develop with assistance training materials and supporting documentation for both internal and external users
  • Enhance product documentation with assistance to create customer facing guides to facilitate adoption of application features and functionality

Role and Responsibilities:

  • Support multiple hosted customer SQL Server environments from SQL Server 2014 to 2019
  • Assist DBA team in on call support and after-hours availability for customer upgrades, script executions, and maintenance
  • Assist with ad hoc and custom reporting using SQL for customers including management and collaboration with offshore reporting team

Description:

Works as part of the Casenet project team and Implementation Engineering team to guide customers and 3rd party vendors/partners through all technical aspects of enterprise care management software implementation with an emphasis on developing enterprise application integration modules.

Education/Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent work experience. 7+ years of equivalent experience
  • Customer facing skills very important – written and verbal
  • SQL development and database administration experience with relational databases (SQL Server preferred)
  • ETL processes development including data mapping and XML data interfaces (NOTE: this role is not for hands-on ETL development but prior experience is needed)
  • REST web services – experience in designing API client applications/call sequences (NOTE: this role is not for hands-on API development but prior experience is needed)
  • System sizing/provisioning, security and administration (SSO, SSL).
  • Customer facing technical project leadership with system integration and enterprise application architecture/design experience.

Responsibilities:

  • Responsible for contributing to and reviewing SOWs in support of TruCare integration projects involving 3rd party vendors/partners and documenting the solution
  • Lead collaborative cross-functional team (Casenet, customer, 3rd party vendors, technical as well as business) in the design and documentation of overall solution architecture that leverages TruCare interface capabilities and enterprise application integration (EAI) platforms to satisfy defined business objectives in terms of scalability, security, reliability, maintainability.
  • Develop hardware and software environment sizing specifications based on an understanding of TruCare application infrastructure requirements and information gathered from the customer regarding their usage scenarios.
  • Install, configure and validate deployment of Windows based distributed enterprise business applications and ensures that customer is trained to take ownership of these activities post implementation.
  • Work with Casenet project manager to develop detail MS project schedule, ensure that schedule is kept up-to-date, and associated activities and tasks are completed in a timely manner to meet prescribed milestones.
  • Deliver technical integration and interface capabilities presentations to key customer business and technical stakeholders. Explain how technical product capabilities relate to and facilitate desired business functionality.
  • Work with customers’ technical team to create detailed technical standards-based (XML, X12, REST Web Services) data interface specifications ensuring that customers’ technical team can effectively implement the interface to satisfy business objectives.
  • Perform complex technical data issue analysis and resolution through intimate knowledge of TruCare application data model and use of SQL database queries and log file analysis.
  • Utilize defined tools/processes to clearly document and escalate any technical issues identified during the implementation. Works with Casenet product/engineering team as necessary to ensure that any issues are resolved in a timely manner so that customer expectations are met through acceptable workarounds and/or appropriate product enhancements/fixes.
  • Work with customer technical and business team to develop comprehensive deployment plans to ensure smooth go-live of TruCare functionality. Deployment plans encompass software installation, configuration, data loads, business/technical validation, known issues and go/no-go decision points.
  • Across all of the above,
    • Identify all technical issues, ensure that they are appropriately prioritized, communicated to all stakeholders, and addressed to customer’s satisfaction.
    • Proactively drive the customers’ technical team in completing all deliverables that customer has ownership of
  • Proactively identify, contribute to the maintenance, and drive adoption of improvements to the TruCare implementation delivery processes and artifacts.
  • Acts as a mentor to newly hired team members by supporting them through the new hire training/on-boarding program to enable them to begin work on customer engagements in a timely manner.
